Liam Construction is a landmark company in Fort McMurray and has been active in the development of Fort McMurray community since its establishment in 1979.

Team and Event Sponsorship

Over the years, LIAM has helped build community pride and spirit through the sponsorship of youth sports teams and special events. Liam is, or has been, an active member in:

• Fort McMurray Running Club (sponsoring the Liam Kids’ Race)
• Fort McMurray Swim Club (sponsoring five swimmers in the President’s Club)
• Fort McMurray Gentlemen’s Hockey League (sponsoring the Liam Generals for many years)
• Long-term supporters of Fort McMurray Men’s Soccer

During the years that LIAM was affiliated with Uncle Bill’s Convenience Store, sponsorship of the Fort McMurray Running Club race ‘Uncle Bill’s Road Race’ was always a popular yearly event looked forward to by all!

Local Affiliations

The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce is the most effective grassroots business association in the Region.  The Chamber membership consists of 650 businesses in Fort McMurray and the surrounding area. We represent business at the local, regional, provincial and national levels and, with our members, have the common goal of making Fort McMurray a better place to do business and a better place to live.
